Wearing Lighter Summer Clothes
Cool Biz, a lighter summer businesswear campaign
promoted by the Japanese
Ministry of the Environment as a way to reduce
air conditioning use and thus help curb global warming,
gained popularity among office workers,
the Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living (HILL) reported on
August 18, 2005. A
survey by this think tank associated with Hakuhodo Inc.,
one of Japan's major advertising agencies,
found that about half of businessmen and
government employees came to work without ties or jackets.

한여름에 넥타이와 자켓을 벗는 것은 너무 당연하지 않나요?
이런 당연한 것을 일본은 고이즈미총리까지 나서서 하고 있습니다.
그동안 있던 틀을 깨는 것은 그것이 아주 합당하다고 해도 참 쉽지 않은가 봅니다.
우리도 예전에 유시민의원이 노타이로 국회갔다가 된통 혼났지요 ^^
이제 환경을 위한다는 명분하에 이런 캠페인을 우리도 해야 할때입니다.
이런건 따라해도 욕하는 사람 아무도 없을텐데....^^
